My name is Bill Butler. My greatest wish at this time (September 23rd) is that we embrace the four million Arab and Muslim American people as our brothers and sisters. And realize that they had nothing to do with the bombing. If we are not up to the task, then children will be intimidated. We don't want that. I live in Tarzana with my mother and brother. I will be 50 this June. I am affiliated with three organizations. First, the Asian Classics Institute. This institute was created by Geshe Michael Roach. He is my teacher. I am meditating and studying his courses. If you would like to hear some of his courses, please type in 'The Asian Classics Institute' in your search box. The courses are great. I am also affiliated with the Tibetan Language Institute in Los Angeles. David Curtis is teaching me Tibetan. This class is wonderful! And David teaches people all over the country by phone. Please type in 'Tibetan Language Institute' in your search box to find out about this wonderful school. The final organization that I am affiliated with is the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institue. This is Iyengar Yoga. I am following Iyengar's latest book, 'Yoga: The Path to Holistic Health.' I really only became affiliated with ACI. But then I found out that the late Kalu Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dali Lama recommended learning Tibetan for anyone who wants an 'in depth' knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism. That's where Lama David Curtis and TLI came in. Also, Geshe Michael recommended hatha yoga in his recent statement from Diamond Mountain (his retreat center). So here I am. I also have a psychiatrist named Dr. Robert Caraway. He is a real gent. And a wonderful psychotherapist named Dr. Brian Moore. I think that people, in general, are in a lot of pain. I am no exception. But if we look up to people, we must examine more than their credentials. Writing a book, being a lama, or having a doctorate is no longer reason for one to follow such individuals. I am really proud of my reviews being printed. And I am also proud of the workers who process these reviews. They have really put up with a lot of nonsense from me during the years. I wish you all well.

This is a book on drug treatment. It seems like a good one. Since the author uses SPECT scans. SPECT (single photon emission computerized tomography) makes a lifelike version of the brain. Unfortunately, the author adds some cognitive therapy and meditation to his program. He changes the names of the exercises (thereby cutting out Beck, Burns, Ellis, and the Buddha). But this is what you must remember if you buy this book: He never does a follow-up SPECT scan after one uses just cognitive therapy or meditation. Just drugs. This makes the whole book invalid. Chapters 14 and 15 are good on alcohol and pollutant use.

We have a whole world-class system of medicine that we all use. In fact, it is pretty good. But what if you could examine another world-class system? Now, I don't mean herbology or whatever. I mean a whole world-class system of healing that includes meditation, nutrition, astrology, medicines, surgery; the whole bit. Like examining another world! Well, Tibet was isolated from us all and had to create their own medical system. And I think that you should know it. Now I don't have cancer or AIDS like you may have. But I have had liver pains for 25 years. I went to an internist and he could find nothing wrong. For my body-type (fire), stress can cause… Read more

Listen to me! After viewing this flick, I didn't like the hero. I didn't like the hero's family. So how many stars do you expect me to give it? Give me a break. The only person I liked in the movie was Bruno. And that's only because Bruno and I are a lot alike in many ways. Tennis star. Yahty yahty yahty. Psycho-killer. Yahty yahty yahty. Clever but sterero-typed plot. Been there. Done that. Get real.
