The book gets an E for effort, but the questions are lacking in flavor from what you'll see on an actual LSAT.

For example, in many of the questions in the games section, you can solve the entire question by appealing to only one of the rules of the game. This is a rarity on the LSAT, and certainly doesn't make for a particularly hard quetion. Much more often, you'll have to combine several clues, and the complexity of the deduction is what makes for a hard question.

Amazing Content, Questionable Writing, Jan 27 2004

Stroustrup clearly shows that his expertise is in computing and not in writing with this book. If you comprehend everything that is in this book, you will definitely have an unbelieveable knowledge of this language. This book *might* work for a beginner to C++ but has significant expertise in other programming languages, but is certainly too advanced for a person that is new to programming altogether. His writing style leaves something to be desired. Stroustrup sometimes phrases ideas an an unnecessarily obscure/long-winded manner when concise wording is available. Excellent Content, but Strangely Presented, Jan 5 2004

What this book is NOT meant for: Not meant for a complete beginner -- this is not a "Learn how to play bridge" book. This book presupposes the knowledge of terms that belong to someone that has already learned at least enough bridge to sit at a table and play (although not necessarily very well). This is a book that is more geared towards teaching someone that already knows something about bridge (and bidding in particular), and gives him/her a self-contained, complete description of the current "standard".
