My interests include music, literature, travel, investing, stock car racing, and collegiate athletics. I am an alumnus and avid fan of the University of Colorado Golden Buffaloes. For serenity, I enjoy quiet moments deep in remote areas of the majestic Colorado Rockies.
My musical tastes include 60's rock, instrumentals, soft jazz, and easy listening. The late Jim Croce is my favorite song writer and musician.
In literature, I enjoy a variety of authors, including Connelly, Crais, Patterson, Forsyth, Ludlum, Follett, Cannell, Turow, Grisham, Wambaugh, Reichs, Parker, Woodward, Atkinson, Ambrose, Cornwell, Grafton, and many others.
I enjoy movies ranging from the epics of the 1950's and 60's like Lawrence of Arabia and Ben-Hur, to James Bond spy thrillers, westerns, and romantic comedies better known as chic flics.
I am grateful and indebted to Amazon for their assistance in building my book, music, and film libraries.

David Lean and Peter O'Toole combined to produce one of the greatest character studies in cinema history. O'Toole captures the tortured mind of T.E. Lawrence, the eccentric British officer who united the bedouin tribes of Arabia against the Turks in World War I. Lawrence is at once a reflective scholar, a reluctant warrior, and driven messiah. He is a man consumed by personal drive, ego, and arrogance in the vortex of war. The production values of the movie are impeccable. The acting and direction are outstanding; yet… Read more

This music evokes images and memories that will forever residedeep within the soul. The Carpenters were perfectionists, illustratedby the impeccable production values on this CD. From their own original compositions to their interpretation of the works of Paul Williams or Burt Bacharach, the music rings with clarity and sensuality. Richard's arrangements were consistently clean, crisp, and clear. They served as a perfect complement to Karen's pure, angelic, and soulful vocal treatments. Her voice could soar with optimism in "Top of the World," or become warm and sentimental with "Rainy Days and Mondays," or turn wistful and melancholy with "Superstar." I… Read more

Jackie Gleason was an accomplished comedian, actor, arranger, and composer. Among his many talents, his music will forever serve as his living legacy. He surrounded himself with gifted musicians, including Bobby Hackett's crisp, clear coronet and Toots Mondello's sultry, simmering sax. Jackie seldom used percussion in his works which perhaps explains the enduring and ethereal quality of these orchestrations. Jackie understood better than most, that music gives expression to the soul. Through his quiet, intimate, and deeply moving arrangements, he touched the soul with a tapestry of emotions from reflection, to romance, to rapture. Close your eyes as you listen to his warm, mellow… Read more
