This CD has already been reviewed to death, but not very well. tobyMac is a genius. I'll tell you why:

1) He absolutely stands alone. His music is not hip-hop, it's not rap, it's not rock, it's not latin...it's all of the above, moving together in a seamless flow.

2) His lyrics are good--not the genius of Eminem since tobyMac isn't pushed to the point of poetic genius by guilt-driven angst--but we are treated to some gems ("Man, that joint was off the chain," or "Somebody shut me up so I can live out loud!")

3) I have never heard a cd that captures an artist's energy so completely. If you ever see this guy in concert, you'll understand how this project truly… Read more
