This novel is one of my favs now. It has moments where I couldn't help but laugh out loud and there were moments where I was so immersed in the book that Id sit down and read for hours, wondering what was going to happen next. The characters are great contemporary style is a breeze to absorb its content. Lynn Coady has an inspiring finesse in her work and makes for a delightful read. This book is sure to have an impact on how you view your childhood heroes as Lawrence, the protagonist, realizes his long time idol is all too human and at times, a mopey narcissistic jerk.
