The Little Book of Awakening: Selections from the &hellip by Mark Nepo
3.0 out of 5 stars "AWAKENING" - perhaps, June 27 2014
The writing consists of short stories of personal experiences that, in the author's opinion, brought him very meaningful insights about life. After each little story he provides an exercise that you can try - hopefully to put you in a state of receptivity for "deeper" appreciation of life and peaceful feeling.
The book is set up for one story reading each day throughout the year. I have nothing bad to say about this book. It may be just what you are looking for. Eckhart Tolle's writings are much deeper in some sense, but Mark Nepo appeals to the common person at the everyday level of experience, so this might be what you are looking for.
Return To Love by Marianne Williamson
Return To Love by Marianne Williamson
I enjoyed Marianne Williamson's style of writing this book. "A Return to Love" is a very appropriate title for the material she covers. Her book provides me with another very useful perspective in revealing some specific gems included in A Course in Miracles. Her assessment of the meaning and role played by Love in any kind of relationship is very perceptive.
Marianne's book, "A Return to Love", will be a useful addition for anyone who wishes to have an additional source to help them in the study and understanding of A Course in Miracles.

I Am That by Nisargadatta Maharaj
Not a boring moment in reading this. It is in the format of the actual conversations that took place between various "seekers of truth" and Nisargadatta Maharaj. The question and answer format is easy to follow. It is like reading a screenplay script or watching a movie of two people exploring the realms beyond thought. In format this is very similar to the recorded dialogues of J. Krishnamurti.
If you are really after a clearer understanding of your relationship to your thoughts and the world around you, as well as
who or what you really are from a universal perspective then reading this book may bring the answers you have been looking for. If your are just… Read more
