Handel: Messiah (Complete) ~ Sir Thomas Beecham
Handel: Messiah (Complete) ~ Sir Thomas Beecham
Some people criticize Beecham's interpretation of the Messiah as being non-traditional. You would think that the recording was done in the mad epoch of the late 20th century when musical idiosyncracy meant that anything goes. However, this recording was made in 1959. Hardly the era of radical revisionism. For me this performance stands out for its musical clarity and honesty.
Belkin PureAV High-Performance Speaker Wire - 50ft by Belkin
This cable has two plastic wires inside a grey plastic insulation jacket. Each wire has copper strands wrapped around a central solid copper core. The core itself is covered in clear plastic.

After you strip the insulation from the two wires, the little strands tend to stick out. You need to strip the clear plastic from the central core, then using pliers wrap those strands around the core. Twisting the strands using your fingers doesn't work, they don't twist well at all and they will stick out, which is a problem.

Other than this missing instruction, this wire seems ok for the job. I got mine for $13 which was a sweet deal.

Contains news article excerpts, real-life examples of bank management crises e.g. the CIBC and Enron debacle, the torpedoing of Bank of Nova Scotia's Argentinian subsidiary by… Read more
