Ultimate Manilow ~ Barry Manilow
Ultimate Manilow ~ Barry Manilow
Since he first hit in 1975, Barry Manillow has remained a constant force in the music scene as a songwriter and singer, composing some pf the biggest hits in pop music. In 8 years, he scored an astonishing 18 consecutive top 40 hits. He also has the honor of selling millions of records but reaping little (if any) critical success, an honor he shares with other successful artists like Kenny G. and Hall And Oates

"Ultimate Manillow" has just about every big hit on it. Surely, people still remeber every single word and note of weepies like "Mandy", "Weekend In New England", and my personal favorite, "Can't Smile Without You". But Barry did not limit… Read more

It holds a lot of emotional value for me as well. It was the first Sinatra cd I ever owned. As a matter of fact, I had purchase at least 3 additional copies of the cd because the first one got worn out because I played it so much.

This cd has all the good stuff on here. There's nothing really rare on here, though "The Last Dance" and his 1961 recording of "Night And Day" (a song he recorded several time between 1940 and 1977, the year he released the disco version)… Read more
