My boyfriend loves the banana flapjacks recipe, and this is coming from someone who doesn't normally like pancakes! I've made the swiss chard frittata many times; it's so easy and delicious. There are lots of great recipes in this book, and it's great to pull it out whenever I need to make breakfast on the weekend for company.
I love the cream cheese herb rolls, and the mini wellingtons, which I have adapted to make vegan sausage rolls that are really good. There's also some good ethiopian recipes including one for injera. I would definitely recommend this cookbook, not just for kids lunches, but for adult dinners (I don't have any kids).
I love this cookbook. I don't really even like food that is too spicy, but it's always optional how much spice you put in, so it's great even for people who don't like spicy food. I especially liked the thai and pan-asian sections. I use about 5 recipes from this book over and over again. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something new and different to cook.
