"Pyramid" is so incredible! When released in 1978, I was already an APP fan. First hearing "I Robot" (possibly my favorite album of all time) upon it's release (1977), I was hooked on the APP. I then heard "Tales Of Mystery and Imagination - Edgar Allan Poe". To me; 3 of the greatest albums ever recorded - period! It is a damn shame, "I Robot" was (and is) not regarded for the masterpiece it truly is. Better than "Dark Side..." in my opinion. But hey!, it's all personal preference. "Pyramid" is very special. Live At The Roxy Theatre ~ Brian Wilson
Live At The Roxy Theatre ~ Brian Wilson
Absolutely wonderful!! I hope a video was made during these shows. This needs to be on DVD! I grew up with Brian's music, loving the Beach Boys. His new band, and the Wondermints are simply awesome. After "This Whole World", Brian goes into "Don't Worry Baby", then "Kiss Me Baby" - Talk about goosebumps!! Fantastic! This is a 'must have', if you are a Beach Boys fan, or just a fan of some of the finest music ever written. This man, Brian Wilson, wrote much of it! His voice, on some tracks, may not be quite what it was so many, many years ago, but it doesn't matter. this is "Beautiful Music"! Brian really shines! Buy This!!!

Grand Prix VHS ~ James Garner
I first saw "Grand Prix" in a Cinerama Theater when it was released in 1967. Unbelievable! Today; it holds up. I would love to again see it on a Cinerama screen. Nothing compares to that kind of presentation. It is simply the finest racing movie ever made. "LeMans" w/Steve McQueen was also very good, but "Grand Prix" has a plot. John Frankenheimer's camera work is superb. He again used similar camera mounts on cars when filming "Ronin". "Grand Prix" is stunning in many ways. From the streets of Monaco to the actual banking at Monza, it is a masterpiece. It needs to be released on DVD. The Soundtrack is wonderful, as well. Some of the most… Read more
