The "look" of these Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was amazing; so is this book. It's big--over 400 pages--full of photos, very well written and fully bilingual. Aside from the things that first catch your eyes (colours, emotions captured, the spirit of Canada) are all sorts of little details. My favourite is the embedding of Twitter "tweets" along the edges of the pages--from fans, media, even athletes.

This book covers the entire Vancouver 2010 Games journey: from conception to bid to candidate city to bid winner and finally host. It is very much focused on Canada and Canadians, but doesn't leave other the achievements of others. It includes comprehensive lists of everyone… Read more

This isn't an in-depth review of the 2010 Olympic Games--it's the aggregation of the coverage of Canadian Press. But it does cover things pretty well and is a nice light bedtime read.

A wonderful representation of the essence of the 2010 Torch Relays: the spirit of a nation. A hardcover edition would've been great though!
