This is a simply wonderful DVD. All four films are excellent.
'Black beauty', of course, is a classic. It is extremely well done with beautiful pastoral scenes of the horses. Of the four films, Black Beauty is the most emotionally stirring with both sad and happy moments. The fire scene may be difficult for very young children. My one granddaughter would always climb into my lap till it was over and she could see that Beauty was safe. Because there are other difficult scenes as well, I would suggest that parents of very young children watch this film first to make sure they are comfortable with their children watching it.
