Not your typical autobiography book. History of Zappos and some autobiography elements from Tony's life nicely woven into interesting story. And you get your share of "howto" in business culture and building business in general.

To me, most valuable part(s) of the book is story of building company culture and sense of belonging and connection to your job. The other one, maybe not so obvious, is how many times Tony's bussinesses were hanging on a brink of bankruptcy. Something you don't read about often and something that is very, very common. Why People Fail: The 16 Obstacles to Success and H&hellip by Siimon Reynolds

4.0 out of 5 stars interesting approach, July 6 2012
New approach to an old theme: success. Chapters are just long enough and you don't have to read them in order. Sometimes I expect more of "why people fail" writing and get only a few paragraphs of it at the beginning of the chapter. After that there's a ton of "how to succeed" stuff related to that chapter's theme. That was little annoying to me from time to time, maybe beacuse I expected book to be more of why people fail and less of how to succeed.

Nevertheless, overall an interesting book, I have read it once and re-read some chapters again. Recommended reading
