The book was listed on the home page of the library's website and am I happy to have read it! This first novel has great characters and a solid story. Bo and Junior, tattoed, big, irreverent but insightful, are owners of a security company who are tasked with finding the runaway daughter of a DA. They end up finding more than they bargained for: kiddie porn, snuff films, gangsters, dirty cops, and maybe, just maybe Boo's long-lost sister. But it was the dialogue between the characters that I enjoyed the most, witty, dark and absolutely hilarious. The ending leads me to believe that there may be more books with this dynamic duo and I certainly hope that's true.
This is one of those books that I just kept reading until it was done and I've read it almost 10 x since. It's a fabulous romance, with really hot love scenes and a great hero and feisty heroine.
It tells the story of Nathan Malone, captured and tortured Navy Seal who is eventually rescued and decides to stay with covert ops rather than return to his wife. Bad, bad case of pride. He has to undergo reconstructive surgery to heal his wounds and assumes a new name, Noah Blake. As Noah, he's given an undercover assignment that brings him back to his wife who believes he is dead and is still mourning him. Wow, the scenes between them! Wow and Wow again.
