Fringe: The Complete Fourth Season [Blu-ray] Blu-ray ~ Anna Torv

I will not reveal any plot points or spoilers.

Season 4 is easily the worst season to date because it's basically a "reboot" of this short series.

It's no wonder they are only receiving one more 13 episode season (Fox has announced next season will be it's last and it's only a short 13 episode arc to finish the story).

At the end of the third season, they essentially "killed" off a character. Within the first few episodes of the fourth season, you begin to get the impression that the show's writers didn't know what to do - they had dug themselves into a hole by "killing" the character. So, they basically come up with some ridiculous plot about the "killed… Read more
The Hitchhiker: The Complete Collection DVD ~ Bill Paxton
2.0 out of 5 stars Poor wording, Oct 24 2011
This release of the Hitchhiker TV series is not as "complete" as fans would have hoped - however, it is the Complete series broadcast on HBO - so in that sense, it's not exactly false advertising, as HBO only produced 30 episodes, all of which are gathered here.

I haven't had time to actually sit down and watch - so I can't speak to the quality (or if any content is censored).

I should also note, I purchased this for $22.99 - which was the pre-order price. How Amazon.ca can jack up the rate by $17, I have no idea.

This set is for fans who absolutely need some of the TV series "Hitchhiker" on DVD and who haven't purchased the previous releases.

First a little info - this is a reboot of the original Nightmare on Elm Street, so it doesn't follow any of the previous movies, however there are quite a few similarities, particularly with the first Nightmare on Elm Street.

If you have any doubts that someone other than Robert Englund could pull off Freddy Krueger, let me set this straight - Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger is just sheer perfection. I have much respect for Englund's past performances as Krueger, but I can honestly say that Haley is the best Krueger.

The story is similar to the original (makes sense, it's a reboot) but it's definitely been "modernized". However, sometimes the story drags it's… Read more
