Designs On The Land by Alex Maclean
Designs On The Land by Alex Maclean
Most of us who do not fly very often are mesmerized by the aerial views we get out of the tiny portal windows in commercial airliners. "Designs on Land" gives the reader those views without the neck-craning or the other discomforts of flying.

This book was intended mainly as a photographic recording of the aesthetics and unintentional beauty/coherence of the changes and structures which mankind has brought to pass on this continent. Blown Away DVD ~ Corey Haim
Blown Away DVD ~ Corey Haim
"Blown Away" is one of the funniest (not intentional) and sexiest (very intentional) B-movies ever made. I just saw it for the second time on DVD and was blown away. This is a VERY, VERY well-made motion picture. In my second viewing, I saw levels of meaning in the story and nuances to the performances that I hadn't realized were there. PJ Hogan's direction is masterful. He captures the magic of Neverland and the sadness of Peter's final decision in a way that has not been done before.

The visual effects and cinematography (especially the use of color) are mesmerizing. The acting by both the kids and adults is… Read more
