I emigrated to Canada in April 2000 to marry a Canadian who I met online quite by chance!
From the first day in Canada my 2 sons and myself have settled into a life we thoroughly enjoy.
I am a Manager of a retail store, which is a job I never thought I would be doing! I work for a nationwide photography chain and I love photography so I love my job!
In order to make friends in a country where I knew no-one I decided to try line dancing. I not only love it the people are really friendly too which is a real bonus.
My sons are teenagers now and whilst they would like to visit the UK again, like myself none of us can imagine ever returning there to live.
If I miss anything it's the pubs because here in Canada it's something they just haven't quite got the hang of how to do it!!
Then again, coming from Blackpool has rather spoilt me for choice!
I have a house full of pets. I have a dog, a cat, 2 budgies, a parrot, 2 lizards, a marine fishtank, a community freshwater fishtank and approx 10 other tanks in which my husband breeds discus fish that he sells.
