While browsing a bookstore I discovered books seven, eight and nine of the Zion Covenant series and I was overjoyed. I loved London Refrain and cannot wait to buy books eight and nine. I loved the book because it pulled together the series Zion Covenant and Zion Chronicles. There is such a big space between 1939 when Zion Covenant series ended and 1947 when Zion Chronicles begins and I often wondered what happened to the characters in these books during that time. London Refrain had me back in the thick of the Jewish struggle to survive and rekindled a desire in me to travel to Europe to visit the places in these books and then to end my journey in the city of Jerusalem!
