I stumbled upon the album's lead single "Sulk" while digging about Youtube for new music as I often do. I'll admit I was drawn in by the bizarre cover art of the woman (though it reminds me of Harmony Korine's characters in the movie "Trash Humpers" if you're familiar -- this is off-topic though).

I was instantly hooked by the song's loaded synth, amazing beat and the lead singer's very stand-out vocal style. I looked further into the band and I'm in love with this, their debut album. This Toronto-based duo has crafted an eerie, pumping, spacey and addicting album full of many gems. Very rarely can it be said that when watching a film with expectations I had as high as this one, that they are met. It's a very surprisingly thing for me because I am usually set up for disappointment. The first thing I must say about SAVE THE GREEN PLANET is how truly unique it is. There are several points throughout where I would predict what would happen next - obviously being brought up on too many blockbuster movies - and the film did not fall into the ensnarement of my clichéd predictions.
