CEH: Official Certified Ethical Hacker Review Guid&hellip by Kimberly Graves
This book is a really good read and helps introduce the reader to the ever widening field of information and computer security. It is a "review guide" though and therefore doesn't get into in-depth explanations of the technologies being explored. If you're interested in taking the 400 question exam, you'll need a little more umph than what's offered in this guide. If you're simply interested in learning more about security...this book is a good starting point.

I found this dictionary to be of pretty good value, with the information being relatively current and up to date. While the dictionary tries to cover to wide a range of terminology (from digital photography to programming), I found that most of the content to be useful.

As a resource for explaining most computer and internet terminology it's pretty good. As a resource for explaining digital photography or programming...well there are only so many pages.

Overall, decent value if you're looking for a handy-dandy pocket book reference.
Maximum Linux Security: A Hacker's Guide to Protec&hellip by Anonymous
I bought the book to supplement my studies for an Information and Computer Security course I was taking. I found the book highly informative, well detailed and incredibly helpful in furthering my understanding of the technology. If you're interested in computer security, this book, even though a bit older, is a MUST HAVE.

Also, the vendor who sold me the book through Amazon was amazing! Big thumbs up and kudos.
