I don't think I've ever given an album a five star review, there are always a few songs I don't like or some parts I think could have been done differently, but this album earned it. The vocals are strong and never overshadowed by the music, the lyrics are poignant and never feel forced, and even though the sound varies from one song to another everything on this album clearly belongs together.

This isn't a very "actiony" series and some people I've lent it to were less than impressed but it's genuinely my favorite. The series isn't about the mushi, even though they play a vital role, it's all about Ginko and his travels and interactions with everyone and everything else.
What bothers some people is that the series never really starts or finishes, it's like you just meet up with him on his travels and stick around for a while to watch him work. For me though, that just added to the charm. This series makes you smile and leaves you believing there's still a bit of magic in the world.
