2.0 out of 5 stars A puzzling cookbook, Mar 26 2010
I bought this cookbook because (a) I've enjoyed Ken Kostick's soup cookbook, (b) I was attracted to the idea of cheap-but-good recipes, and (3) Ken Kostick is such an appealing character!

In this regard, John Coldstream's book has been a bit of an eye opener. Dirk Bogarde was, at times, a most unpleasant person. I'm surprised that friends and family put up with much of what he said and did. Having said that, I'll focus on what he left behind. Maybe it would be a good night to watch (once again) "Death in Venice." I still admire the artist -- though not, perhaps,… Read more
