I use this cookbook at least twice a week (I have the simplest of simple yellow split peas recipe cooking as I type this.) I am half-seriously thinking of getting a second slow-cooker so I can prepare multiple dishes at the same time. I find the physical size and simplicity of the book to be very inviting - I add my own notes to the recipes I have already made and don't worry about bending the spine. The instructions are simple and easy to follow.
