Riding Horseback in Purple: Re-Awakening the Dream&hellip by Alice E. Macgillivray
5.0 out of 5 stars Great content!, Feb. 4 2014
I rode and looked after horses every summer as I grew up, and thought I knew a bit about it. But Alice MacGillivray has an understanding of horses that goes far below the surface of what I thought I knew and experienced. She describes how to find a horse to buy, how to make choices about food and location, how to communicate with your horse, and most of all, she illustrates the enormous respect and modesty required to be a good owner. This is a great read, and a must-read for anyone considering horse ownership.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smart and funny!, Jan. 13 2014
This book was fun to read and really motivating. It made RSPs easy to understand, and made it easy to take steps that led to real action! I highly recommend this book to anyone who doesn't already have an RSP in the works, or even for people who do but want to check up on their strategy.
Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daugh&hellip by Carmen Aguirre

To follow beside Carmen as she grew up, as she experienced things too intense for fully equipped adults, was nail-bitting, heart breaking, and sometimes, funny. It's an interesting perspective of politics and family from a fantastic writer.
