I love giving copies of books I enjoy away, in hope that others will share what I've gain from them. For example, over the years, I have given many copies of "Life's Little Instructions" book. But when it comes to practical books that one can use, I think the Baby Bargain book is my favorite. I enjoyed the book so much that over the past 3 years I've given more than 10 copies of the books away to my co-workers, friends and family who are expecting babies, and every feedback I've received has been the same - it's awesome!

If you think your child is too young and sit though a musical, think again in the case of Sound of Music. Our 2 1/2 year-old love the songs in this movie *MORE* than the music of Elmo and Barney!! Something that I thought could never happen.
Ever since we turned her onto "Do-Re-Me", she had asked to watch this DVD every day. Now she knows all the words to "Do-Re-Me", and she can sing it as well as other songs in the movie like "So Long, Farewell" and "My Favorite Things". Incredible.

While this is an excellent and engaging movie, DVD collectors should wait until another release to become available. The picture quality of this DVD is amazingly BAD, worse than VHS in some segments. Picture is dark in general, resolution low, colors bleed all over the place, and dialogs are difficult to understand. I am not sure how the disc was mastered, but the person who did it should be fired.
It was a mistake to have purchased it sight unseen. 1 star for being a good movie and the commentary.
