I really like the moral fiber running through this show. I wasn't even born when this show was on but I would have loved seeing it in re-runs, but never did. My first experience with The Donna Reed Show was the Christmas episode in the Merry Sit-Com dvd set. When I saw the first season for sale I just HAD to have it and LOOOOOOOVE it! Wouldn't it be lovely if life could be like this, the manners and respect shown. Simon Cowell has geared these songs to this boy who sings SO well! I'm an adult but I enjoy this CD but if you have young girls to buy for they will LOVE it and won't be getting bad messages like with so many of the modern singers now days. You can understand what he sings and the music doesn't drown out the fabulous voice this young man has it showcases it, like was the intention. I hope he has a long and successful career in the music industry.

A really nice, feel-good movie that deals with some very serious issues in a heart warming way. The actors work beautifully together. I didn't realize Randy Travis could act but he does a lovely job!!! It's fun to see Rue in a role that isn't Blanchesque....she's spirited, kicky and even grandmotherly at the same time! Connie does a enchanting job as the mom and the children are marvelous.
