One of the many great qualities of this book is Carson's sharing pastoral insights about preserving church unity in the face of controversy over such things as charismatic teaching and practice. It is a most helpful exegesis of a controversial part of the New Testament. Everyone will find something to disagree with here, but will also find much sane guidance. Highly recommended

Fanny Waterman's book is short, but is packed with help for pianists and teachers. You are cheating yourself if you don't read it. Ms Waterman divides the essentials of becoming a musician into craftsmanship, musicianship and learning how to be a performer. Every musician, and especially pianist can benefit from what she has to say here. Highly recommended.

This CD is fantastic! All three concertos are very enjoyable and expertly played. The cello concerto and the violin concerto are great, but our favourite is the piano concerto, which sounds like it has a great first movement, no middle movement and 2 finales! If you don't know the work, when the second movement is running, you would swear it was the last movement ... until you hear the last movement, which is equally energetic. Beautiful! Highly recommended
