This is a great book. Richard Picciotto is not an experienced author, but I kind of like the way he tells his story. It is strait forward and easy comprehensible. The story is about several firefighter's and a civilian's escape from the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Richard Picciotto is the battalion chief of the eleventh precinct. He enters the tower in order to rescue civilians. He finds that most of the people have all ready evacuated the tower. But he finds a few lost souls. After a while he hears a loud sound. This book covers everything you could ever want to know about acting. If you want to be an actor or actress then all you have to do is read this book, and you're there. This book covers every possible technique you will ever need on the stage! Stanislavski takes on the role as a teacher for his students in this book, but the fact is that he is both the actors and the teacher. He uses the students to ask the questions you are wondering about, and answers them as the teacher. His discriptions are so good that you sometimes wonder if you are really there. This book covers a lot of aspects in how to make a film. And it illuminates some basic problems that are associated with it. But I think that some of the chapters are un-necessary. Like the one about all that dutchtape can be used for and the advice to not have affairs on the set or not let a filmcrew into your appartement. It is just something you will know after having made your first movie. And the part about affairs is something you should be able to figure out yourself. Leave something for the imagination.
