Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins

This was one of the most disappointing books that I have ever purchased on Amazon.

If you are looking an objective study on corporate operations and capitalism in general, run don't walk, from this book. This is simply a cynical cash grab in the anti-capitalism market. This is a pure drive-by smear campaign from a man with an axe to grind. It is pure marketing.

This is not a serious work. It's a rant.

This book is only for individuals who are looking for reasons to keep their narrow-minds narrow. A kindergarden level expose on what should have been a great topic. Shark sandwich.
HTML, XHTML and CSS All-In-One For Dummies by Andy Harris
It's a big book, but I am surprised at just how much it covers. If you're interested in understanding conceptually how websites are put together from the client and server sides this is a great book.

I knew nothing about any of this but after reading the book I now understand XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and AJAX. Start here. It is a very good value.

Another great Dummies book.

This book is a critical and important examination of the Oilsands and how important they are to Canada and North America - as a strategic asset and a means to power our economony and create jobs for thousands. Using pure logic and the rational extension of the impact of supporting Conflict Oil over Ethical Oil, Levant nails the supporters of Conflict Oil for what they are - supporters of tyranny… Read more
