5.0 out of 5 stars Another T Bone Classic, May 20 2004
Though not as good as the O Brother soundtrack, this CD is another classic. Alison Krauss will give you goose bumps on Scarlett Tide and Jack White will impress you with his version of Americana. Props to the Sacred Harp singers on two amazingly moving and driving songs. I had never heard of Sacred Harp singing but it has to be heard to understand the greatness.
The Reeltime Travelers were a new one for me, and I will certainly be looking for more of their music in the future.
I was lucky enough to catch this tour (the great high mountain tour) and all musicians were extremely talented, Alison Krauss especially. I highly recommend this great disc.

With Alison Krauss' influence obvious throughout the CD, how can it not be good. Things get started with the upbeat and catchy Ode to a Butterfly, but things slow down quickly with the wonderful story of a lighthouse who has watched as their owner has lost the love of his life.

Other highlights include When you Come Back Down and Robin and Marian, a song that makes you feel as if you were hanging out with Robin Hood.

NEW Vince Guaraldi - Charlie Brown Christmas (CD)
This is absolutely one of the top 3 CD's you must have for your Christmas music collection. From the classic Hark the Herald (as sung with your mouth as wide open as possible) to the Charlie Brown theme, this CD will have you ready for Christmas. Perfect for background Christmas music.
The only draw back is not including Linus' speech on the meaning of Christmas and somehow leaving off a song from the show. How exactly can you leave off a song on a CD about a 30 minute cartoon?
