4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for the kids!, March 29 2012
Kinect Disneyland is a great game for children or anyone that loves Disney. A huge number of Disney's characters are featured in the game, from the classic Mickey Mouse and friends to the Disney Princesses. The graphics and voicework are top-notch, and the gameplay is varied and fun. The quests are easy to understand and complete, with each segment of the park getting its share of the action. And as with many current gaming titles, there are lots of achievements and hidden secrets to scour the park for while completing the main story. 5.0 out of 5 stars Epic Cartoon Fun, Dec 3 2007
Bone: One Volume Edition is definitely the way to read Jeff Smith's epic story of the Bone family. The book follows the adventures of the three Bone cousins (Fone, Phoney, and Smiley) as they get run out of their home and become lost in a mysterious valley. At first the story and characters seem innocent enough, but as the story progresses the layers of deep history, unique characters, and grand storytelling are peeled back.

Jeff Smith is a superb illustrator and manages to infuse his cartoony characters with just the right amount of charm and personality. This book is presented in black and white, and the skill with which he uses the darks and lights to create scenes is… Read more
Shanna, the She-Devil by Justin Gray
Shanna, the She-Devil by Justin Gray
Shanna the She Devil is a super-fun sci-fi romp with illustrator and writer Frank Cho. The story revolves around the discovery of Shanna by a military team lost in a strange land filled with ravenous dinosaurs. Shanna is liberated from a storage tank in a hidden Nazi base, and she joins with the military team to help survive in the savage jungle!

Frank Cho illustrates this book brilliantly. His dinosaurs and environments are completely convincing, having both personality and depth. And of course his humans (especially Shanna) are drawn amazingly well, each with their own unique look. Unlike many comic book artists, Cho's action sequences require no narrative text to help the… Read more
