The Secret Keeper: A Novel by Kate Morton
4.0 out of 5 stars Good read, May 27 2014
A good book, lots of twists and turns. Men probably wouldn't like it. Nice feel for the 1940's London. Giving away the plot would be a spoiler.
Is Nothing Something?: Kids' Questions and Zen Ans&hellip by Thich Nhat Hanh
4.0 out of 5 stars Thich Nhat Hahn, May 25 2014
I bought this book as an adult and I have no small children or grandchildre. I just like children's books. Teaching children to pay attention to their breath when they are stressed or anger gives them a wonderful coping mechanism which bring life long benefits. No equipment required and something that is alway available

It was nice to read a fun book for a change. The last book I read Behind the Beautiful Forevers, about a young boy in a Mumbai slum, needed a counterbalance. Also I lived through the era of this book, although I didn't go to a parochial school we suffered through many bad Christmas pagents. i really love Wally Lamb's writing.
