Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson
Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson

As others have said, the author isn't that great, but the book itself and the STORY is amazing. After reading this book, you'll put Greg Mortenson to the status of a God almost. He is extremely kind, helpful and tolerable of other ways of life. I wish more people were like him. Hell, I wish politicians were more like him. Then we could get a lot of things done. The world would be a better place if everyone were like him.

The only reason why I'm taking a star off this review is because the writing is a little bit awkward. Despite that, it was almost impossible to put the book down.

While saying the common way of thinking is wrong even though there's lots of studies surrounding it, he will input his own way with no data or studies, somehow thinking it has more probability of being right and more credibility. I especially liked how he would cite certain articles to prove his point, but… Read more

This was an amazing book. I don't know what else to say other than that.
Simply amazing and extremely emotional. I can't count the amount of times I felt anger when reading this book. What happened to Halima, her family, and some of the other tribes was just so unjust.
