Great film, but not the best release, Dec 6 2011

The film it self is amazing, the image quality is superb; a vast improvement from the DVD version. However, they did not remaster the audio into 5.1, both audio tracks are in 2.0. Other than that the sound quality is great. The subtitles are in white and are perfectly legible on both HD and SD displays.
The CBC news scenes have a strange flickering effect (approx 13 minutes in) that wasn't there on the DVD version.

Unfortunately the Blu-ray is devoid of any extras. Gone are all of the Interviews, commentary track, storyboards, etc that were available on the DVD. There aren't even any trailers on the disc. All that remains is the film itself. On top of that, the French… Read more

Saki Morimi is visiting the White House and soon finds herself in trouble but she is quickly saved by a young, completely naked man, wielding a gun and a cellphone and lacking any memories. Searching his cellphone for clues to his identity, he discovers that it holds 8,200,000,000 yen and has a hot-line to a mysterious concierge who can execute any task, for a price.

This is by far the best anime to be released in 2010 (in R1). Excellent Surge Protector, Mar 20 2011

This is the perfect surge protector for home entertainment system or PC use. It has 12 outlets, 6 of them are nicely spaced out for DC adapters, inputs for Ethernet cables and a coaxial cable input/output. Its rated for 3996 joules, which is more than enough for protecting a plasma TV. The plug sits flat against the wall socket, and it has a plastic piece for holding the various cords together. Its a great product and is priced much better than the various monster surge protectors.
