The book begins on a positive note. I was very optimistic. By the middle I began to question myself as to the reason I was giving this book a shot. It was cheesy, and like one of those novels that it trying to mix in several genres...romance-erotica-thriller-mystery-fiction...all gone wrong. I was disappointed with this book. The characters did not have natural chemistry. The author forced an attraction through the use of language, albeit cheesy language. I loved this book and read it three times in one day. It was romantic and thrilling. The chemistry was awesome and only wished that the end was expanded further into the future. It did have its cheesy parts, but not to the point that it undermined the strength of the book. After reading this book, I bought all the other books by this author and they all paled in comparison. Too bad. I am trying to find another book similar to this one, but to no avail so far.

I bought this book because I loved Just the Sexiest Man Alive and in particular the banter between Taylor and Jason was brilliant. Taylor was clever, very intelligent and did not succumb to Jason's demands, and particularly, she did not talk to him or treat him like he expected to be treated. The book was very funny and romantic. Not the roll your eyes and tacky type of romantic, but actually sweet.
