Born in the 60s but a child of the 70s, I am married to a Geologist, have an archaeology degree but work part-time helping in the teaching of medical students as a Standardised Patient. I have two children and five cats.

Interests
I am a writer mainly of modern western versions of eastern poetry. I love nature, reading, listening to music and watching intelligent tv on DVD.

I watched this documentary a few nights ago and can't stop thinking about it. It is heart-breaking. What a beautiful person Robert Eads was. I wish everyone could see this film. I hope it has and will inspire people to help make the world an accepting and supportive place for people who need to transition physically from female to male.
Although the film only offers glimpses from the last year of Robert Eads' life, I felt that I was living there in Georgia and experiencing the everyday life of Robert and his group of friends.
