Several years ago, I received a phone call from the manager of the accounting staffing company I work for during the week. A multi-national corp. needed someone to help with the transition from one payroll system to another. When I got there, I soon discovered they were primarily interested in going in a direction other than the one their Human Resources department was taking. Are there really differences in HDMI cables? Is a $7 cable as good as a $20 one? *** We recently upgraded our home theatre system, including a new Blu-ray player from Samsung. Because the lions share of our movie collection is on dvd, the new player has some kind of image upgrade. I wanted to see just how good a new set of plugs were. I initially bought two right here from Amazon, the Amazon Basics and the BlueRigger. The BlueRigger was on sale and about the same price as the Basics.
