Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventure Collection (&hellip

Just purchased this boxed set from Amazon.ca. I missed out on seeing the movies in the theatre when they were released (I wasn't a fan of Indy back then), but having recently watched my kids play Lego Indiana Jones on PS3, I thought it might be time to re-visit Indy in the flesh (so to speak). The movies are pretty good; even though the plots are a bit far-fetched at times, a lot of the secondary actors/actresses are pretty wooden in their delivery, and many of the situations that Indy & Co. miraculously escape from require you to suspend your disbelief and/or your knowledge of physics - but overall, not a bad foursome of action/adventure movies. Garfield from the Trash Bin: Rescued Rejects & Out&hellip by Jim Davis

Upon reading this book, you have to wonder if common sense temporarily deserted Jim Davis when he decided to send these 'rescued rejects' for publication. The artwork is crude at best, little more than rough sketches scribbled on random bits of paper. Most of the sketches aren't even funny, and quite a few of them are decidedly more mature than the Garfield strips published in Davis's best-selling books (Garfield Sits Around the House, etc.)

Even as a Garfield fan, I can't find enjoyment in this book. These sketches are rejects that should NOT have been rescued.
Pikmin: Prima Official Game Guide by David Hodgson
I have the Nintendo Wii version of this game and have been quite frustrated by it (game review here - Pikmin). But not anymore! This game guide removes all (okay, most) of the frustration out of playing the game. There are detailed maps showing the locations of all of the missing ship parts; tips & tricks for getting around and/or defeating the game's many hazards & enemies; advice on the best order to collect the 30 missing ship parts in....this guide rocks!

Highly recommended for anyone frustrated with the Wii version of the game.
