I have no problem giving misleading products one star and saying why in my reviews and refuse to be bullied into deleting those reviews. My advice to other reviewers is to not worry about unhelpful votes as unfortunately a lot of people don't actually use the vote yes no feature answering the question. Instead they vote to if they agree with your opinion or rating. When you take into account how easy it is for authors, their friends, and family to set up fake accounts it is little wonder you get unhelpful votes and I'm actually surprised I don't have more. Concentrate on the people you have helped and also have a go at Listmania lists and other areas within Amazon.
I must say I have become quite a bit addicted to the reviewing process. Initially I was just responding to a very persistance campaign by Amazon to review the first thing I bought on this site.
Do I share the concerns of Amazon not doing anything to stop the bullying by others to delete reviews they don't agree with? - Yes
Do I think Amazon should bar those who pull up people's profile to vote page upon page of a person's reviews unhelpful? - Yes
Do I think Amazon should let remain reviews by people on products they clearly haven't used (in the case of books read) (in the case of DVDs watched on DVD not just saw on TV or at the movies)? - No
I think although you should be able to write whatever you want in your review you still have to be mindful that this is a retail site and people are reading your review so they can make a better decision as to if to purchase a product with their hard earned money or not. This is why I also dislike with a passion those who get off on including spoilers in their reviews. There's been many a rare book I've been contemplating buying but wanted to know more about that I did not purchase due to some selfish person who decided to give away key parts of the plot. It's not a nice feeling and I think Amazon should take a stronger stance on spoilers, especially serial spoiler review writers.
I have only recently even though I have been reviewing for a substantial number of years clicked on this view profile page so I apologise for those people who have requested me to be their Amazon friend. Have no idea what this is but can't really see any point to it. I'm not one of those people who want to have thousands of friends they don't really know on Facebook or any online community including Amazon. I am happy to communicate with anyone, just leave a comment on any of my reviews you want to discuss the product of or join in any discussion I have become a part of (although if this is in someone else's comment on their review unfortunately I may not be aware of it if it is an old comment, why doesn't Amazon let you see your comments easily that have been replied to?). I welcome communication but I doubt I'll click on this profile page much to know if someone has invited me to be a friend and I'll just say the no and the same thing I wrote above anyway.

I had high expectations for this book which it just doesn't come close to achieving. The information on the musicians inside is rather basic and nothing you probably won't already know if you are a fan of any of them. There are no pictures at all inside and the text is written in a rather boring way. I had hoped to be able to look up songs or movie soundtrack albums in the index and see who actually sang them so I could order them on Amazon or somewhere but only artists are listed in the index and the book does not contain soundtrack albums at all. A very poor effort of what could have been a great and handy beneficial reference tool.

Although this could be read as a stand alone novel, this is the first Jessica Jones adventure which I would say it is actually necessary to have read the prior novels beforehand. The necessitation is not to understand this story, but because it will wreck reading the prior adventures as major plot outcomes are given away from those books in this one. I really do not understand why Nicole decided to do that, as the reminiscing factor didn't really add anything to the scenes or the story as a whole and any part of the story that was slightly improved by Jessica's memory flashbacks does not outdo the detrimental future experience for the reader who has not read the prior novels. Anyway in… Read more

This is the ultimate manual for any up and coming dictator which takes the reader step by step through the process of how to become the ruler of a country, and ultimately if you can handle the pace, the world! This book is so good that when I become ruler of the world I will have all copies destroyed so that no one will be able to take my place. With this book you'll learn important stuff like learning how to watch your back, whilst stabbing someone else's. The secret is not to worry what is right or wrong, only what is effective and other inspirational messages that will take you all the way to the top. This is the aspiring dictator's bible!
