Wish You Were Here ~ Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here ~ Pink Floyd
5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic!, Jun 25 2004
I remember reading a review for this CD that said Wish You Were Here is better than Dark Side of the Moon. I laughed and said, "yeah, right. Dark Side of the Moon is classic. People are stupid."

But then I really started to think about it, and I decided to buy this. And how happy I am that I did! Every single song on this is amazing. It opens and ends with "Shine on you Crazy Diamond Parts I and II." Part I gently introduces the listener to this wonderful CD. 3.0 out of 5 stars I've read better., May 24 2004
This wasn't bad, or anything. It was just... very unbelievable. I like unbelievable, but not extremely unbelievable. I didn't have to strain to read it. I just kind of said "huh..." when I was done. Mr. Chompers is OBVIOUSLY Alf, if you didn't know. And Alf's alter ego has a HORRENDOUS name. Mr. Chompers. Jesus H. Christ. I could think of a million better names. Even the name Larry is better than Mr. Chompers. Or Ralph. I think it would've been really clever to use the name Ralph.

Another thing that really bothered me was the relationship between Kitty and Jerry. In the book, it was just so much better. It was like they were both big loser junkies trying to be big loser non-junkies together. I really hoped that… Read more
