In My Own Words:
Ok...I play drums, bass, and guitar (not much of a singer, but at least I'm on key). I listen to pretty much whatever I want, ranging from Gorillaz to Alien Ant Farm, to Weezer to the Deftones: everything rock-ish. I don't like pigeon-hole-ing music or people, but I would say I like punk and ska a lot more than most music: Green Day and Sublime influence me quite a bit. (even though now I'm gettin… Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars This isn't too bad., June 9 2004
This album took awhile to grow on me, but it has done so. I expected it to be more...concious...sounding, and a little heavier (there's quite a lot of acoustic/clean guitars). To the point: Ride, Animal Machine, Winning Days, Evil Town, Rainfall, and F.T.W. are the best tracks. Everything else is...well...boring. Most of it lacks depth, but it has a nice sound, and there's quite a few sing-alongs here.

This is an over-all enjoyable album. There aren't that many different styles on here, unless you call "ballads" a style ("Sun Never Shines"), but it's still good. Maybe you shouldn't listen to me, because I'm more of a punk fan, but either way you won't regret buying this, even though the tracks are fairly similar, and there isn't a great amount of emotional depth.

Just look at the other CD's I've reviewed if you think I'm some one from the mainstream crowd. This is Creed's Weakest attempt, but it's a hell of a lot better than 80% percent of music out there right now. It's nothing special, but it isn't bad.
