I was disappointed in this item. It is very nice looking, but leakes at the spigot. I would not recommend the dispensor.

Not good for soups with a large amount of hard ingredients. i.e. squash, potatoes. They have to be chopped quite small before inserting. Hopefully it will perform better on soft soups, roasted red pepper etc. Works wonderful as a blender.
