Hour Of Gold, Hour Of Lead: Diaries And Letters Of&hellip by Anne Morrow Lindbergh
5.0 out of 5 stars Living History, May 30 2013
I knew little about the Lindberghs apart from the basic facts about them. He flew solo across the Atlantic, their first child was kidnapped and found dead, and that they flew around the world charting new air routes. I first read a biography of Anne only because I was curious about her. After reading a full account of her life I wanted more and turned to the collection of diaries and letters to learn more about her. Who better to tell me their story than the person living it? Daddy's Gone A Hunting by Mary Higgins Clark
Daddy's Gone A Hunting by Mary Higgins Clark
4.0 out of 5 stars Gripping, May 27 2013

The Family Way by Rhys Bowen
The Family Way by Rhys Bowen
Molly is the book I always wait for and look most forward to reading each year and this year's installment was no different. I knew there was no way Molly was going to settle down into a quiet life as a wife and soon to be mother. Sure enough a long lost letter brings Molly out of retirement just for a little while. However as is always the case with our plucky heroine she soon finds herself in over her head and involved in other more sinister plots than just trying to find a missing Irish immigrant, including kidnappings, corruption and even terrorism. With the help of her two best friends Sid and Gus Molly some how survives the many ordeals thrown her way, and their friendships remain… Read more
