Fun, Fun ----But Horrible Video Quality, May 25 2004

The official description of the Delacorte DVD admits to "tiny" technical shortcomings. Tiny, what a lie! This DVD has probably the worst video quality of any commercial DVD ever made; it's fuzzy and so washed out that it's nearly colorless. It looks like it was recorded with security cameras.

Nevertheless, nevertheless, it's fun to watch. It is a live
recording of a great stage production sung and acted by a great cast. This is the cast that did excerpts from the show on Saturday Night Live. The biggest surprise to me in the DVD was to see a younger (age 51) Patricia Routledge of Keeping up Appearances who could really could move and sing.

A Must Read for All Investors, Dec 15 2002

As an experienced investor and already a true believer in indexing and low cost investing, and having read books by Bernstein, Boogle, and others, I expected to learn little from this book. Wrong! This book by two of Rubin's boys (Clinton Treasury UnderSecretaries) is the best treatment I have ever seen about how the financal industry bleeds the average investor. Pithy and witty with lots of new insights and information, this is an excellent book.
The book is worth buying just for the chapter on the huge costs that would be incurred by a privatized Social Security.

Musical Gem, Oct 27 2002

Don't own a cat, but this is a musical and 'cat' gem. Wonderful, original lyrics by Garrison to classical and popular tunes. About 16 cat songs sung by Garrison and Frederica with chorus and superb orchestra and orchestrations. Excellent sound quality, lots of fun.
