In My Own Words:
I was raised by film. When I was a child my parents took me to the video store and told be to find my babysitters for the weekend. The videos at this particular store were .99 cents. Needless to say I had watched them all eventually, and this was the day of the classic B-movie....not the snot they shat out now. If its horror I've seen it, saw Phantasm at the age of 5 and have been hooked since.

Smallville: The Complete First Season DVD ~ Tom Welling
5.0 out of 5 stars Laughable, May 11 2004
I've read through most of the reviews and some of them just crack me up to no end. First off, the one where the reviewer complains saying that Smallville is for 12 year olds....then goes on to explain that he still collects comics. I mean really? So do I, but a collector of comics has no room to make an age reference slur. Then another goes as far as to say how Smallville has ruined the Superman mithos then on to say how much he can't wait for Lois & Clark to be released on DVD. What is your major malfunction? Lois & Clark? Are you serious or just die hard fanboy playing a prank?
With any story there is a begining, and to tell a good story you have to understand the characters… Read more
The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks
The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read!, Sep 12 2003
I love this book, it is one of Brooks best pieces of literary genius. I often think on this story when reading all the later novels. Every time the great tree is mentioned I feel a pang in my heart for Amberle, her end was so pitiful (or begining?). I honestly have to say that my eyes teared when I read the last few chapters, and that was first and last time that happened while reading....and I've read alot of books. Sometimes I hope to hear a brief mention of her sacrifice (expected it briefly in the first of the Jerle Shannara books), but alas no such luck. I recommend this book to all fantasy fans, because I know all Brooks fans have read it already, lol. It was for Mr. Brooks his… Read more
The Return of the Living Dead (1985) DVD ~ Clu Gulager
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy!, Aug 5 2003
I can sum this film up easy! If your a horror fan and haven't seen it, your not a fan. This is one of those greats that creates us horror buffs. When I see a Zombie film to date I compare it to this classic. My words "Cool Zombie movie, but nowhere close to Return Of The Living Dead".

P.S. I've been all over Louisville and can't find the wharehouse or cemetary.........my guess is that it isn't really based on a true story! LOL

If you don't realize I was joking..........ah nevermind...
