A friend recommended Susan King's books to me, and now I'm reading everything she has written so far! LAIRD OF THE WIND is one of the best romances that I have read in ages, and a great Scottish romance. Susan King writes beautiful prose that pulls you into the story, and her history is always accurate. The characters are wonderful in this one. Jamie Lindsay is a warm, wise hero, with dark secrets that haunt him. He is always good to the heroine, and even when the tension is high between them and he loses patience with her, or thinks she has betrayed him, he is never unkind or selfish, and always strong.
