This is definitely not one of the cookie-cutter, candle magick, mind the Rede sort of book that seems to be mass produced publisher these days! The author has gathered "Pre-Gardnerian" witchcraft information, and when he says "witch" he does *not* use the word as being synonymous with Wiccan.
There is information in here that I learned in coven but have never seen in print elsewhere. This fact seems to me to lend validity to the material that I had not heard elsewhere.
