When this film is not tedious, it is slow and sentimental. This I find quite difficult as I cannot imagine making the subject matter that this film tackles boring. Although I find Che Guevera and his politics (which enslaved millions around the world) distasteful, he is non-the-less an interesting and complicated character - as were Hilter and Mussolini. Also it is a travel movie about to twenty-somethings going off to explore the world, so to take this apparently important part of his developmental stage and turn it into a yawn fest is quite remarkable.
If you must see it, watch it for the scenary, because it holds very little substantial or convincing explanation for what drove this… Read more
