This is one of my all-time favourite movies. The casting, the music, the sets--couldn't be better. A triumph for Emma Thompson.

This book was exactly what I wanted - a sincere telling of what their ordeal was including its effects on the family without sensationalizing it. Now I see someone has put the movie The Haunted on YouTube in ten parts! This was never released on video (it was a TV movie) so now everybody can enjoy it!

I wasn't familiar with Taylor Caldwell, but ordered this book about her because of an outside reference to it that mentioned the Vatican wrote to ask when she'd had access to their archives!! Her novels are based on subconscious memories of past lives, which is how she can write about Atlantis, biblical times, Victorian England, etc. with astounding accuracy without doing exhaustive research - it is merely dictated to her by the Presence. When I got to the end I just started over again - it's fabulous!
