Psyence Fiction ~ Unkle
Psyence Fiction ~ Unkle
As a die hard Radiohead fan I bought this album after hearing the track "Rabbit in Your Headlights", sung by their front man Thom Yorke. However, I was not sure what to expect from the rest of the album, and I must say, I was not disappointed... well, not completely. The album contains some truly amazing highpoints, such as the track "Lonely Soul" and "Blood Stain", which alone make the price of this album (used) more then worth it (you should be able to acquire this CD [...] used on this site).

Lost Souls (Reissue) (W/3 Bonu ~ Doves
4.0 out of 5 stars Simply Excellent., Feb 26 2004
Musically the Doves tread a line between beautifully emotionally pieces which evoke feelings of loneliness and desire, and more uplifting and happier moods. However, to their credit, the songs flow quite seamlessly together. And with the addition of the three bonus tracks, the 15 tracks create a very solid and complete experience. It is worth mentioning to, that the bonus tracks are not simply fillers or throw away songs, but among the best songs on the album. As a whole, "Lost Souls" has quickly earned a place among my favorite albums, where it will undoubtedly remain. A very enjoyable and impressive work. Highly recommended.
A Rush of Blood to the Head ~ Coldplay
5.0 out of 5 stars Flawless, Feb 25 2004
A simply flawless work from start to finish. Although I am wary of any artists in the "mainstream", which seem to produce more hype then inspired art, Coldplay is by far one band which is deserving of the awards and acclaim this album has generated. Original, imaginative, and passionate, "A Rush of Blood to the Head" is one of the most polished and purely enjoyable albums to come around in a long time. Destined to be a classic.
